SEO Specialist · B2B SaaS · Bengaluru
I'm an SEO specialist working with B2B SaaS companies. My job is moving whichever metric the business actually reports on, whether that's organic revenue, rankings on commercial terms, or getting cited inside ChatGPT, Claude and other LLM models and AI Overviews. At Hiver I own the revenue clusters end to end, from finding the opportunity through to the qualified leads that reach sales.
I joined Hiver in May 2024 and took over the organic side of the funnel. My remit is the clusters that bring revenue: email management, helpdesk and customer support. I own each one end to end. Finding the gap, briefing the writers, building the internal link structure, and earning the backlinks that make the cluster hold.
Organic traffic peaked at 110,079 monthly sessions in November 2024, up 95% on my first month. Domain Rating moved 76 to 78.
Getting cited is a structure problem more than a writing problem. I moved the answer to the top of the page, added FAQ and how-to schema across the commercial set, and rewrote copy so entities are named rather than implied. Then I built a scraper to watch which domains actually get pulled into AI answers, because you can't improve what you aren't measuring.
citations in total, pulled from 306 distinct pages across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Grok.
Hiver pages also surface in Google AI Overviews for 720 keywords across 291 URLs.
Pages from the clusters I own. Open any one to see what moved it.
Technical SEO is the part I'm strongest at, so when the AI search metrics I needed didn't exist in anything I was already paying for, I built them. Four working tools, each one solving a problem I hit in my own workflow, and each usable by anyone running SEO for a client.
Runs the same page through two different content structures and shows which version gets picked up in AI answers. I built it because nobody has an A/B setup for AEO yet.
Open the tool →Paste in a URL and it scores the page on the signals models weigh before deciding to cite you. Entity clarity, author info, structured data, source attribution. Tells you why a page keeps getting skipped.
Open the tool →Tracks which domains get cited across ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews for a set of keywords. Rank tracking, except the ranking is a citation.
Open the tool →Maps which parts of a page get pulled into AI answers most often, so you can see where inside the content the citations are actually coming from.
Open the tool →Picking what to work on, automating the repetitive parts, and getting the content right before it's written.
Finding the money
I own three clusters at Hiver. Email management, helpdesk, customer support. The pick isn't complicated. Can the product answer the question, and can we realistically outrank whoever's sitting there now. A lot of high volume software terms are locked up by G2 and Capterra and there's no point pretending otherwise. What's left, I build out properly, supporting posts and commercial page together, because the commercial page never ranks on its own.
Automation
Workflows for content brief generation, keyword gap analysis, and SERP scraping that tracks which domains surface inside AI answers. Cuts three to four hours of manual work a week and turns AI visibility into something I can monitor instead of guess at.
Collaboration
At Hiver I brief eight writers and an external agency for the programmatic pages, 15 to 20 pieces a month. I don't send a keyword and wait. The brief carries the structure with it, and I read the outline before anyone starts writing, which is far cheaper than fixing a finished piece.
